Overview

David Secor, Business Manager at St. Joseph Preparatory High School in Boston, MA, will lead a discussion on Step by Step: Building a Financial Plan, offering practical, hands-on advice on how to build an effective financial plan that will boost your school’s operational vitality.

David Secor is the Business Manager at Saint Joseph Preparatory High School in Boston.  His responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of the school's financial operations, supporting strategic budget planning, and managing the day-to-day operations of the administration office and facilities.  He began his career in the financial services industry in 1988 and transitioned to work with independent schools in 2008.  Prior to joining SJPHS, David spent five years with the Touchstone School in Grafton, MA.  His twenty-year investment career was with three large Boston-based institutions: Scudder Kemper Investments, Natixis Global Asset Management, and Wellington Management Company. David earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Finance from Lake Forest College in 1987.  He received CPE credits in Accounting and Financial Reporting for Independent Schools in 2009.
